Ayman Mohyeldin, Katie Phang, and Jonathan Capehart shows canceled in network restructuring by new president Rebecca Kutler.

The 7 p.m. hour will belong to Symone Sanders Townsend, Michael Steele and Alicia Menendez, while Jen Psaki replaces Alex Wagner.

MSNBC finalized its revamped schedule on Monday, promoting progressive anchors Jen Psaki and Symone Sanders-Townsend to primetime while booting its largely non-white weekend lineup of hosts off their namesake shows.

As MSNBC host Joy Ann Reid issued her final send-off on the ReidOut, her now former colleagues blasted the network for her "indefensible" firing. Reid hosted the show for five years. Prior to that, Reid was a weekend host of AM Joy from 2016 to 2020.

Reid is a longtime political commentator who has been vocal on progressive issues and sharply critical of President Trump.

The sweeping overhaul at MSNBC has reached production staff after tearing through its lineup of anchors. The network has already told the majority of employees who produce Rachel Maddow and Joy Reid’s shows that they were being let go with the option to apply for new roles,
