Over the last year, confirmed Bird Flu cases in dairy cattle span 17 states. Wisconsin has yet to be touched. The risk of it spreading to farms like fourth-generation Vandoske Dairy Farm is scary.

A bird flu outbreak has been confirmed at a commercial chicken farm in Herefordshire. The virus was recorded near Kington earlier, prompting a 3km (1.8 mile) protection zone being put in place. A government spokesperson said all poultry on the premises would be culled but done so humanely.

Industrial farming practices could be boosting the spread of bird flu. Avian influenza has been detected in poultry across the country, including in North Carolina, where 3.3 million birds had to be culled because of the disease at one farm alone in January.
