Tim Henman has welcomed Emma Raducanu’s decision to enter qualifying for the first time since she won the 2021 US Open, saying “I am convinced the results will follow.”

Tim Henman thinks Emma Raducanu must focus on two things in the upcoming period and that's bringing in a new coach and also focusing on improving her fitness level because she simply needs to play more.

Emma Raducanu admitted she was unsure about her next plans after a disappointing Singapore exit but underlined that she was healthy and ready to compete again. After missing Auckland due to a back injury and kicking off her season by reaching the third round at the Australian Open, the 22-year-old accepted a late wildcard to play in Singapore.

Tim Henman believes Emma Raducanu 'needs a new coach', having recently watched the tennis star lose to the world No 101 at the Singapore Open. Raducanu exited the competition on Monday, with the Briton losing a three-hour epic against Cristina Bucsa.
