President Donald Trump agreed Monday to pause planned 25 percent tariffs on Canadian imports for 30 days after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced new border security measures and anti-drug trafficking commitments.

The Canadian prime minister said the country has a $1.3 billion border plan and 10,000 "frontline personnel" protecting the border.
