Dallas’ downtown convention center will be the official broadcast hub for the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup, soccer and city officials announced Wednesday. The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center will host FIFA’s International Broadcast Center with setup for the summer tournament expected to start in January 2026.

Dallas will officially host the International Broadcast Center for the 2026 World Cup, FIFA announced on March 5. The decision by FIFA ends more than a year of speculation going back to February 2024, when the organization revealed that nine World Cup games will be played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, the most of any host venue.

"On behalf of FIFA and FIFA World Cup 26, it is my absolute pleasure to confirm that Dallas and the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center will serve as the international broadcast center for the FIFA World Cup 2026," Hopfinger said. She said Dallas has been a remarkable partner.

The City of Dallas has secured FIFA's International Broadcast Center for the 2026 World Cup. The IBC will be located in the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center and serve as home base for thousands of television and radio reporters from around the world.

Texas is expanding its role in next year's FIFA World Cup beyond hosting matches in Houston and Dallas. In addition, Dallas will be home to the International Broadcast Center and 2,000 members of the media.
