The Iowa State women’s basketball team’s week began full of opportunities. The Cyclones, who had two ranked opponents on their schedule within four days, had a great chance to pick up a much-needed resume-building victory and possibly move off the NCAA Tournament bubble.

With the Cyclones rolling off an 8-0 run in the fourth quarter, Van Lith cashed in on a layup and Hunter cashed in on a 3-pointer to give the Horned Frogs a nine-point cushion to help secure the win.
